Designed by Danes and woven by hand in India.?The?weaving technique used to make this Kelim rug is the?’Punja’ loom, which is a traditional manual loom and one of the oldest weaving techniques. We’ve found it preferable to have a textile underfoot when we work, for those?not so occassional?moments we choose to slip?off our shoes. Moreover, we’ve?found rugs to be?an excellent way to demarcate a workspace, particularly when?sharing the space with a living or bedroom – it provides clear lines to see where one world starts and the next begins. This one has a versatile graphic pattern that is subtle enough to fit in with just about?any décor, and provides the perfect touch of visual flair without being a distraction.
